Treatment of Melasma.
The Cosmelan Peel is a highly effective treatment for melasma, a common skin condition characterized by dark, irregular patches on the face, often triggered or worsened by sun exposure, hormones, or genetic predisposition.
This innovative peel is renowned for its ability to address melasma by targeting the underlying causes of pigment overproduction while promoting healthier, more even-toned skin.
The Cosmelan Peel works through a multi-step process. Initially, a specially formulated mask is applied to the skin during an in-clinic procedure. This mask contains a combination of active ingredients, including tyrosinase inhibitors and exfoliants, which work to reduce the production of melanin—the pigment responsible for skin color.
The peel also promotes skin cell turnover, aiding in the removal of existing pigment-rich cells.
