CACI NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT

The award winning CACI Non-Surgical Face Lift treatment is the answer to tired, dull, sagging, lax skin, providing you with effective and measurable results that begin after your first session. The CACI system will provide you with a pain less natural alternative to anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation with no down time. Fabienne has been trained in the UK several times with the CACI company and has Official CACI certification and provides intense training for all her staff. It is like going to the gym for your skin! An intense facial workout thats comfortable and relaxing.

The CACI system is all about re-educating your facial muscles, to firm, lift and tone. The face has over 30 different muscles that lie directly below and are connected to the skin’s surface. Proper firmness is re-established through the non-surgical procedure by correcting sagging muscle, which in turn corrects the sag of the skin.

MICRO CURRENT

Microcurrent stimulation delivers tiny electrical impulses that mirror the body’s own natural bio electrical field. In most cases, treatment is virtually sub-sensory, with just a slight electrical tingling sensation.

Originally developed for treating facial palsy microcurrent therapy is now also used widely in physiotherapy for pain control and in hospitals for wound healing. As an aesthetic treatment microcurrent stimulation has been shown to have a number of other cosmetic benefits.

Microcurrent in aesthetics is commonly described as “facial toning or non surgical face lifting” due to the dramatic lifting effect that microcurrent has on facial muscles and facial contours.

True microcurrent uses a current with an intensity of less than one millionth of an amp (< 1mA) and because of it’s low intensity it does not cause a physical or visual contraction of the muscle, instead, microcurrent stimulation works by a process called muscle re-education.

In the 1960’s Drs S. Baker and S.Doyle demonstrated that effective and long term muscle re-education could only be achieved using microcurrent if ultra low frequencies (less than 1 Hertz) were used.

MICRO CURRENT

In his book, The Body Electric Dr Robert O. Becker, indicates that to be effective microcurrent impulses need to be delivered using a modified waveform that is able to overcome the body’s natural resistance to current (Ohms law) without causing client discomfort.

Combining ultra low frequencies with a modified waveform enables the microcurrent to recharge the electrical potential of the muscle by stimulating the spindle cell fibers that run the length of the muscle and attach to the golgi tendon organ in the belly of the muscle. This golgi tendon organ (GTO) simulation technique was developed by Dr George Goodheart in the late 60’s.

During treatment all 32 facial muscles are physically manipulated using soft cotton tipped wands (probes) or other attachments that transmit the microcurrent impulses.

Working a muscle from belly outward will have a lengthening/relaxing effect that is necessary on muscles that have become contracted over years of facial expression (eg frown lines). Working a muscle from the origin and insertion point inward will have a shortening effect that is necessary for the majority of the muscles that have become elongated over time due to age and gravity.

Although a remarkable difference is seen after the first treatment, the benefits of microcurrent are cumulative and typically a course of 12 treatments will be required for optimum results.

ULTRASONIC PEEL

Ultrasonic peeling uses a hand piece containing ceramic/quartz heads that when excited by an electrical current emit piezoelectric vibrations that cause the hand piece to vibrate at 27,000 vibrations per second on the skin surface.

These rapid vibrations push skin impurities to the skin surface and cause any dead skin cells to become dislodged . The vibrating hand piece is then used to deep cleanse and gently exfoliate the epidermis.

The rapid expansions and contractions of the vibrating hand piece also destroy skin bacteria by causing the single cell wall of the bacteria cells to implode.

The sonic vibrations can also be set to a specific frequency to help the absorption of skin care formulations.

Ultrasonic skin peeling provides a far gentler and less aggressive alternative to traditional microdermabrasion methods of skin exfoliation.

HYDRATONE

Hydratone combines active microcurrent rollers with a unique, electrically conductive silicon gel mask that has been infused with powerful hydrating properties. The rollers gently massage the face causing the mask to become electrically charged so that the whole face is bathed with rejuvenating energy.

The energy delivered by the rollers recharges and replenishes the bio-electrical energy within the facial muscles, restoring tone and firmness.

The energy generated also drives the hydrating actives contained within the gel mask deep into the skin tissue. The gel mask has a dramatic softening action helping to plump out and smooth deep lines and wrinkles.

The Hydratone procedure takes just 10 minutes to perform yet provides immediate and intensive skin hydration and face firming.

MICRODERMABRASION

As we age, the automatic process of exfoliation and cell renewal slows down. Sometimes the body needs a little help.

Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure in which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the skin) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion.

The removal of the dead skin cells reveals the softer more youthful looking skin cells underneath.

The superficial abrasion of the skin also triggers the body’s own natural repair mechanism which triggers the production of new collagen and releases glycoaminoglycans in order to rehydrate and replenish the recently abraded area. This has a remarkable softening action on surface lines and wrinkles.

The procedure is not very painful and requires no anesthetic. Microdermabrasion can be used medically for scar removal when the scar is raised above the surrounding skin, but is less effective with sunken scars.

Microdermabrasion can also be used to treat sun-damaged skin and to improve acne but must be repeated periodically to be effective. Different microdermabrasion methods are used to the exfoliate the skin

Orbital Microdermabarsion uses a hand piece that rotates at different speeds on an elliptical axis. Instead of using exfoliating crystals, orbital abrasion utilizes a selection of disposable, abrasive treatment tips coated with a layer of silicon carbide to either superficially or deeply exfoliate the stratum corneum. The orbital rotation of the abrasive treatment tip performs a progressive and controlled skin exfoliation and polishes and massages the skin at the same time. The speed of rotation, the abrasiveness of the treatment tip selected and the speed at which the hand piece is moved across the skin surface determines the depth of abrasion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You may feel a slight tingling during treatment but it will never feel uncomfortable. Once your treatment is complete, there is no down time, you can carry on your day as usual.

We recommend that you book a course of 10-12 treatments initially, taking 2-3 treatments per week for the first few weeks and then going to one treatment per week. We then recommend that you have one treatment per month as maintenance, thereafter.
